MEMPHIS, TN -- Shop24 Global LLC has entered into a nonexclusive agreement with EdR, one of the nation's largest owners and managers of collegiate housing, which will place Shop24 automated c-stores on some of its properties. The first machines will be installed at Commons on Kinnear in Columbus, OH, and East Edge in Tuscaloosa, AL.

The giant refrigerated vending machines -- which measure 9' H. x 10' D. x 13' W. -- will deliver college coeds a variety of products in all shapes and sizes, from pencils and cookie dough, to shaving razors and aspirin. Planograms for each location are determined by consumer marketing studies and surveys, according to Westerville, OH-based Shop24.

EdR, based in Memphis, TN, manages 71 collegiate housing communities in 24 states. Colleges and universities have been a key target for Shop24.
