LAKEWOOD, NJ -- Elaut USA reports that Steve Paris has been named chief operating officer, effective Aug. 13. He brings more than 17 years of amusements industry experience to the company's management team, which is led by Neal Rosenberg.

Rosenberg observed that Paris has come to Elaut USA "at a time of tremendous opportunity and growth." In his new post, Paris will head day-to-day operations, and also will be involved in the company's long-range strategic planning.

Paris began his career at Kaiser Amusements (Langhorne, PA), and went on to hold a variety of increasingly responsible positions with Dave & Buster's (Dallas). He subsequently became chief operating officer of Tricorp Amusements (Somerset, NJ), and then served briefly with Innovative Concepts in Entertainment (Clarence, NY).

Elaut USA is among the nation's largest coin-operated equipment concessionaires serving amusement and theme parks; it also designs, manufactures and distributes amusement equipment. Elaut is a factory-authorized distributor for major product lines, and provides parts and service support for everything it sells or operates. The company also offers consulting services to large family entertainment centers and other amusement facilities. It is a subsidiary of European amusement equipment pioneer Elaut NV (Sint-Niklaas, Belgium).
