Ideal Software Hires Mire, Promotes Brown

Scott Mire, Ideal Software MERIDIAN, MS -- Ideal Software Systems has appointed Scott Mire to the position of director of development for its amusement division. Mire comes to the company with extensive experience in software development, support, marketing and management. Prior to joining Ideal, he worked for Peavey Electronics Corp., Voxeo and Parts.com.

"We are excited to bring Scott onboard at a time when we are developing new software products, features and applications at a quicker pace than ever," said Ideal founder and president David Goldman.

The company has also promoted Alvin Brown to engineering director. Brown, a longtime member of the Ideal team, will oversee the company's design and research initiatives, deployment of software systems and development of application-specific software.

Founded in 1983, Meridian, MS-based Ideal is a supplier of software solutions to the amusement industry, including POS systems, operations, redemption management, party planning and cashless payment systems.
