One request NAMA made was for additional time to allow its members to provide more thorough feedback, and it commended the agency for extending the comment period.

"Having joined with other industry leaders in making this request to the DOE, we are now urging our members to contact the NAMA government affairs teamfor information on how to provide input to shape NAMA's comments," said association senior vice-president of government affairs Eric Dell.

Those interested in providing input regarding the energy conservation standards can contact NAMA's government affairs team at NAMAvoice.org.
