ATLANTA -- The Coca-Cola Co. said it is streamlining its global operations and named the senior leaders who will play key roles in the new structure. Beginning next year, the beverage giant's business will be built around three units: Coca-Cola Americas, Coca-Cola International and Bottling Investments Group.

Steve Cahillane, 47, will head the Coca-Cola Americas unit, which will include Latin America. He has led Coca-Cola Refreshments in North America since 2010.

The new Coca-Cola International division will be led by Ahmet Bozer, 52. He currently oversees business in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. He joined Coke in 1990.

Irial Finan, 55, will continue as president of the bottling unit, Bottling Investments Group, which will oversee the company's bottling operations outside North America. He joined the company in 2004.

All three executives will report to Coca-Cola chairman and chief executive Muhtar Kent.

The new structure takes effect Jan. 1 and divides the global operations evenly. About half of Coca-Cola's sales volume comes from the Americas and the remainder is generated overseas.
