Broker Pioneer Luckower Dies

HARRISON, NY -- Herbert Luckower, founder and principal of Luckower Co. here, died in late February.

An innovator in vendible product sales representation, Luckower was active in industry affairs at the state and national level. He was a longtime director of the New York State Automatic Vending Association and a founding member of the National Vend Brokers Association.

Luckower Co., which he ran with his son Michael, has been a member of the National Automatic Merchandising Association since 1970.

Luckower is survived by his wife, I.D.; sons Michael and Arthur; daughter Deborah; and three grandchildren.

Donations to honor his memory may be made to the f.a.c.e.s. (Finding A Cure for Epilepsy and Seizures) program at New York University's Comprehensive Epilepsy Center and Langone Medical Center, which maintains a website at nyufaces.org.
