THOMASVILLE, GA -- The Mrs. Freshley's line, which was updated with a colorful new logotype earlier this year, now flaunts complementary package graphics with a bright, modern design. Among other enhancements is a clear window area showcasing single-serve products.
Brent Bradshaw, vice-president of brand marketing, explained that the new packaging honors the Mrs. Freshley's tradition, while its more contemporary design "make the statement that this is the snack of today -- on the go or anytime."
The brand also is launching a "Spot the Mrs. Freshley's Sweet New Look" giveaway contest. Consumers are invited to take a picture of the new single-serve packages or boxes and send it to the Mrs. Freshley's Facebook page. Every week, 20 fans will be selected at random to win a package of Mrs. Freshley's products.
The contest, which ends on May 26, culminates in a grand-prize giveaway; the lucky winner will receive free Mrs. Freshley's for a year. Details may be found at facebook.com/mrsfreshleys.
The Mrs. Freshley's line of snack cakes and pastries is manufactured and marketed by Flowers Foods. It has grown to include more than 50 items.
