DOVER, NH -- Dover Bowl Family Fun Center here has selected Tricorp Amusements Inc., the East Coast's largest games operator, to manage its gameroom, according to an announcement by Tricorp. Dover Bowl's state-of-the-art gameroom features 50-plus arcade games and a new cashless POS system.
Since opening its doors in 1965, Dover Bowl has remained a popular destination for local residents. It offers 32 lanes, including 10 for candlepin bowling, popular in New England and the Canadian Maritimes. It also boasts a two-level laser tag arena and sports bar and restaurant.
According to Dover Bowl owner Mark Bowen, some customers were so excited about the new gameroom, they anxiously signed up for its debit cards weeks before it opened. "The Tricorp team rolled into our location and had the entire room set and powered up in just four days," he said.
Tricorp president Chuck Peitz added that the Dover Bowl space was a perfect match for his operation. "[Mark Bowen] had a vision to add a two-story laser tag system to his bowling center, and wanted to incorporate a new and modern-looking gameroom with all of the latest technologies. It was essential for us to work within the new space and incorporate a cashless debit card system."
