BRISTOL, PA -- AMI Entertainment has released Megatouch Live V2 for its newest countertop game terminal, the ML-1. The release, made by updates loaded down automatically to ML-1 machines, adds 22 new games to the Megatouch Live software menu. Of these, nine are new Battle Arena versions of Megatouch favorites, and three are HD games including brand-new Mystical Strike.
Battle Arena games are designed specifically for the ML-1 countertop terminal. They enable simultaneous multi-player gaming on the ML-1's 22" multi-touch display. The Battle Arena format is designed to give players the "ultimate social gaming experience" and AMI reports that they earn twice as much for operators as single-player games, in the same amount of time.
Like all ML-1 titles, Battle Arena games include 10 challenges for players to overcome plus three upgrades for players to purchase. A Battle Arena leaderboard allows players to keep track of their win-loss records.
The new games include Photo Hunt Battle, Penthouse Photo Hunt Battle, Monster Madness Battle, Rock Mahjong Battle, Word Dojo Battle, Funky Monkey Battle, Wordy Birds Battle, Q-Shot Battle and Beer Pong Battle.
AMI's latest software release also includes 10 new games for operator-run tournaments and Tournamaxx Classic. With the release of Tournamaxx Classic, players can participate in the contests through both Megatouch legacy machines and the new Megatouch ML-1. New tournament games include such Megatouch hits as 11 Ball, 11 Up, Card Bandits, Card Raiders, Lucky 11's and other player pleasers.
Three new amusement games also have joined Megatouch game suite, including the original game Mystical Strike. This tile-matching tower-defense challenge transports players to Camelot and back as they play through nine levels of comet-dodging action. Players match similar tiles to shoot down colored meteors to prevent the destruction of their castle.
Updated and vibrant new versions of Run 21 and Race Poker have also been added to Megatouch Live software, AMI reported.
The company has enhanced the menu to augment and simplify the player experience by adding a Battle Arena tab, so head-to-head games are now easier to find and "did you know?" messages appear while games are loading. These messages give players information about the game they are playing, along with other games they may be interested in trying.
AMI's periodic updates give the ML-1 a regular supply of new games and content at no extra cost, ensuring that players always have the latest and greatest in Megatouch games at their fingertips, AMI explained.
