OXFORD, PA -- The family of James S. Herr, founder of Herr Foods Inc., is inviting those who wish to offer condolences to visit with them on Saturday and Sunday, April 14 and 15. The snack food pioneer died on April 5 at the age of 87. | SEE STORY
The visitation will be held at the Oxford High School at 705 Waterway Rd. in Oxford, PA. Hours are Saturday 9 a.m. to noon, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
A memorial service will also be held on Sunday, April 29, at 3 p.m. at Sandy Cove Ministries, 60 Sandy Cove Rd. in North East, MD. There will be visitation time with the family service from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., prior to the memorial, and again after its conclusion. Refreshments will be served following the service. Arrangements are being handled by Collins Funeral Home of Oxford, PA.
Interment took place on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at the Nottingham Cemetery on Cemetery Road, following a private family service.
