PURCHASE, NY -- Jon Banner has joined PepsiCo Inc. as senior vice-president of global strategy and planning.
He will be responsible for planning and executing the company's worldwide communications efforts and partnering with PepsiCo's business units to support key business initiatives.
Banner joins PepsiCo from ABC News, where he spent more than two decades and earned 15 Emmy Awards. He most recently served as senior executive producer of divisionwide initiatives, where he led the rebranding and financial restructuring of ABC's news division.
