GRANADA HILLS, CA -- Operator Ralph Sehnert closed the doors on his world-renowned Family Fun Arcade on Dec. 31 after a 39-year run.

The facility, which featured videogames almost exclusively, was one of six standalone arcades left in the area. Its legendary Street Fighter tournaments drew players from as far away as Canada, Japan and Australia, Sehnert told the Los Angeles Times.
