ST. LOUIS, MO -- American Vending Machines Inc. is moving to a larger facility to accommodate its expanding vending equipment remanufacturing operation and sales of new and used machines, parts and accessories.
The St. Louis-based company said it has purchased a 57,055-sq.ft. building, which is five miles from its current location and more than double the size. It expects to close on the new property on May 3.
AVM president Andy Hayes told VT that the larger headquarters will better accommodate production capacity as demand for quality remanufactured equipment continues to rise.
The company, which bills itself as a "one-stop shop," carries a wide selection of new, as-is, and remanufactured vending machines, along with coin/ticket/card dispensers, bill changers and acceptors, currency counters, water coolers, parts and accessories.
Started in 1997 as a regional service and sales center, AVM now has 20 full-time employees and sells to vending clients nationwide and overseas.
