Joe Ingui, Betson, Tricorp Amusements SOMERSET, NJ -- Tricorp Amusements has appointed Joe Ingui vice-president of new business development, according to an announcement by Tricorp chief executive Chuck Peitz. Ingui will be based at Tricorp's headquarters in Somerset, NJ, where he will report to Peitz.

Ingui comes to Tricorp, the largest amusement route operation on the East Coast, from Betson Enterprises, the nation's biggest amusement and vending machine distributor. He spent 18 years at the distributorship, joining in 1990 as an account rep and ascending to national director of sales in 2000. At Tricorp, Ingui will oversee strategies to keep the operation on a growth trajectory as it expands nationally.

"I have known Joe for many years both personally and professionally," Peitz said. "He brings a wealth of management and organizational skills, and years of industry experience that will prove to be invaluable to the future development of Tricorp Amusements. Our organization has been growing rapidly nationwide; the addition of Joe will further enhance our new business development. It's a very exciting and challenging time for us."

Founded in 1979, Tricorp specializes in providing amusement games to high-traffic entertainment venues. National Amusements, headquartered in Dedham, MA, was the company's first theater account. In addition to National, the company provides equipment to AMC Theaters and the Regal Entertainment Group.

As of a year ago, Tricorp operated more than 6,000 pieces in 21 states through five operating offices, including its New Jersey corporate headquarters. Regional branches are located in Boston, Atlanta, Richmond, VA, and Coconut Creek, FL. In March 2012, the company announced plans to expand its service network nationally. | SEE STORY

"Tricorp is well recognized as a nationwide leader in amusement service operations," Ingui said. "I really appreciated the years I spent at Betson, but my ambitions and plans have brought me to a new challenge and facet within our industry. Chuck and I share a common vision for this industry, and together we know that we can begin to exercise our strategic growth plan for the future."
