CAMDEN, NJ -- Campbell Soup Co. has struck a deal to license its V8 Splash and V8 V-Fusion brands for Israel-based Soda Stream's namesake home carbonation machines.
The system, which transforms tap water into carbonated soft drinks and sparkling water, includes a soda-maker, CO2 carbonator, reusable bottle and more than 150 flavor options.
Campbell and Soda Stream said the initial V8 Splash concentrates will include tropical blend, berry blend and fruit medley, along with V8 V-Fusion in strawberry banana, pomegranate blueberry and peach mango varieties. They are expected to be available during the second quarter of 2013.
The deals follow an agreement between Campbell and Mesa, AZ-based Esio Beverage Co. inked last summer that brought V8 Splash beverages to Esio's hot and cold beverage system. | SEE STORY
Both the Soda Stream and Esio systems also feature Kraft's high-profile Crystal Light and Country Time brands. Last month, Esio expanded its agreement with Kraft to include Maxwell House coffee. | SEE STORY
