ORLANDO, FL -- Locking Systems International reports that it has been awarded a United States patent on its Flex padlock. In total, 20 claims were awarded.
The Flex padlock allows vending operators to adjust the security level of the entire padlock by changing the lock cylinder, a system that LSI calls the "adaptable cam."
The Flex padlock features a hardened steel body and shackle; shackles are available with 1" or 2" clearance, and are user-changeable. The padlock body accommodates most standard 7/8" cam locks, including LSI's own Cobra 7 and CobraMatic 7, along with Abloy and Medeco, among other popular makes.
