WASHINGTON -- Vagabond and AirVend have teamed up to streamline compatibility between their respective vending management software and touchscreen devices.
Provo, UT-based AirVend's Android-based POS device displays nutritional information, provides cashless payment options and sends real-time data wirelessly. Vagabond's software provides live views of machines, real-time inventory information, and sales and financial reports. It integrates with telemetry hardware and any Web, mobile or tablet device.
The joint AirVend and Vagabond solution is available immediately. Customers of Washington, DC-based Vagabond can link AirVend's touchscreen devices through their USA Live accounts with Malvern, PA-based USA Technologies.
"AirVend brings excitement to vending and brings visibility to end-consumers for their nutritional concerns and their increasing lack of cash on hand," said Vagabond chief executive Michael Lovett. "The combined AirVend and Vagabond solution provides the industry with an important set of tools to meet these needs and succeed in every way."
