PHILADELPHIA -- AMI Entertainment Network reports that it has updated the iOS version of its Bar Link mobile application. The Android version was updated earlier this year.
The new version of iOS Bar Link offers a number of new features and an enhanced user interface. Users now are able to check in automatically, search with greater efficiency and make purchases more securely, AMI said.
Improved location search and automatic location check-in feature make it easier for users to hook up with their favorite AMI jukebox locations, the company explained. The new interface also expedites navigation of AMI's extensive music library and enables users to find more material by the artist currently playing on the jukebox. It displays the amount of credit remaining in the app's electronic wallet.
Coming in July to both versions of Bar Link is an email verification screen that will ask users to verify their email addresses before depositing money in their wallets. This will be accompanied by other improvements to the purchasing process, AMI explained.
The enhancements also are designed to empower jukebox patrons. Bar Link users will be able to report difficulties with checking in or playing music at a particular location. Operators can receive and view alerts and information about those user reports by means of a screen on the AMI operator website.
