NEW YORK CITY -- TouchTunes Interactive Networks has named David Paschkes senior vice-president of advertising sales. Paschkes is now in charge of developing advertising opportunities for brands across TouchTunes' multiplatform network that includes jukeboxes, customizable narrowcast TV and mobile apps.
Paschkes was previously vice-president of sales at VEVO, where he managed sponsorship and advertising relationships for such clients as American Express, Coca-Cola Co. and Unilever.
"Music is at the heart of TouchTunes, giving brands a unique and emotional social context," said TouchTunes chief executive Charles Goldstuck. "David's experience at VEVO makes him a perfect match for building out the advertising sales platform."
Prior to VEVO, Paschkes filled executive posts at Yahoo!, Univision and CBS Interactive.
TouchTunes' first digital jukebox went online in 1998. Last year, almost a billion songs were played on the music network, which currently serves more than 57,000 venues.
