Charley's Milk WINNETKA, IL -- New from Tenaya LLC is Charley's Milk, which are fat-free and made with milk that does not contain the artificial bovine growth hormone rBST. The product is formulated without artificial colors or sweeteners.

Charley's Milk is packaged in 8- and 14-fl.oz. bottles, both formed of plastic made without bisphenol-A. The smaller format is available in vanilla, chocolate and strawberry flavors; the larger comes in chocolate and strawberry. Both sizes ship in 12-ct. cases.

The aseptically packaged product is shelf stable. Unopened bottles of the vanilla and strawberry varieties have an unrefrigerated shelf life of six months; the chocolate flavor has nine.

According to the producer, Charley's Milk meets the American Beverage Association's school guidelines, which specify less than 150 calories and no more than 25g. of sugar per 8-fl.oz. serving. Thus, the 8-fl.oz. bottle is well suited for addition to a school vending product mix.
