SAYREVILLE, NJ -- Coast to Coast Entertainment LLC reports that back orders for three of its hottest amusement machines will begin shipping by the end of May. The Prize Cube crane, Monkey Bizz-ness bulk vender and Side Box prize dispenser were previewed during the IAAPA Attractions Expo in November and were on display at March's Amusement Expo.
"Our assembly lines have been working hard to clear the backlog," said Coast to Coast's Gary Balaban, who commended his line workers' focus on quality control. "When you have a large number of back orders, there's a temptation to push your team members harder. But when you push too hard, quality slips and no one wins. Our team managed to maintain high standards on every piece."
The new games are manufactured at Coast to Coast's factory in China and are assembled and tested at its U.S. headquarters in Sayreville, NJ. Balaban said the assembly lines should be able to keep up with expected demand throughout the summer.
Prize Cube is Coast to Coast's newest crane machine. A U.S.-style coin door with electronic mech, multicolor LED lighting (four sides), optical prize detection, large adjustable claw and slide-out computer are among its enhanced features. Prize Cube is offered in three widths: 31", 38" and 60"; all are 76" high and 26" deep. It can operate in either skill or "play-till-you-win" mode.
Monkey Bizz-ness is an interactive bulk vending machine that dispenses egg-shaped capsules containing prizes. It can also vend conventional bulk capsules and 45mm. high-bounce balls. When a vend is activated, Manny the Monkey spins once and deposits the product, while a jungle-themed soundtrack plays. The MSRP is $1,495.
Side Box is a novel add-on for cranes, merchandisers and bulk vending machines, so it can complement both Prize Cube and Monkey Bizz-ness. It allows operators to vend keys that open a compartment. A mechanical device, Side Box can stock product sizes not supported by standard games and venders; keys that unlock a box permit redemption for high-end electronics, plush, sports equipment and ticket bundles. It measures 60" H. x 14" D. x 12" W., and has five lit compartments of varying sizes.
The Amusement and Music Operators Association recognized Side Box with its 2014 Innovator Award. It was the third time Coast to Coast has won AMOA's product award.
