NEW YORK CITY, Aug. 20 -- Wanna hang with Jimmy Buffett at your favorite bar? Now you can… sorta. Starting Aug. 20, 2013, TouchTunes will debut Buffett’s new album, Songs From St. Somewhere, via Mailboat Records on jukeboxes nationwide. The legendary singer/songwriter's 27th studio album is his first studio release since 2009.
The 15-track collection contains 11 songs written or co-written by the frontman and features special guests Mark Knopfler, Emilio Estefan and Latin singer Fanny Lu. The album, which follows 2009's Buffet Hotel, was recorded this spring in several locations, including Key West, Nashville and St. Barths, and features the booze-and-beach jams "Somethin' 'Bout a Boat," "Einstein Was a Surfer" and the lead single, "Too Drunk to Karaoke," a duet with Toby Keith.
Jimmy has been performing songs from his new album, as well as all the Buffett classics, on his current ‘Songs From St. Somewhere’ tour.
