ST. LOUIS -- New from Crane Merchandising Systems is a Fit Pick-branded Merchant Media machine, which has been approved by the National Automatic Merchandising Association. To help operators address the growing demands of end locations and the various strategic issues they face regarding smarter snack choices, Crane said it is offering its Fit Pick Media machine as a free configuration for the industry.
Crane's Media platform enables operators to provide the Fit Pick program benefits in a way that meets the health-conscious demands of end location management and engages consumers on "better-for-you snack choices." NAMA unveiled its updated Fit Pick healthy vending program this week in Chicago. | SEE STORY
According to Crane, the visible aspects of the Merchant Media Fit Pick machine have been designed with NAMA-approved graphics that are highly recognizable and will resonate with consumers. Even the consumer-friendly 7" touchscreen features Fit Pick-branded graphics and a transaction experience that encourages better-for-you snack choices. Consumers can be engaged with product promotions, while operators can drive sales with in-purchase advertisements. Additionally, the machine can be programmed to dispense rewards for making Fit Pick choices. To assist operators in selling Fit Pick Media machines, a marketing kit will be made available in the coming months.
"Locations are demanding healthier snack choices, and we recognize a solution is required for the viability of our industry," said Kirn Reis, the CMS vice-president responsible for the Media line. "Our Fit Pick initiative can meet this demand for the operator while providing an engaging vending experience for the consumer."
The Fit Pick Media machine will be available in mid-April.
