WATERBURY, VT -- Keurig Green Mountain Inc. and Subway announced a deal that will bring Keurig's single-cup brewers to the sandwich chain's nearly 30,000 restaurants in the U.S. and Canada.
Subway first offered Keurig K150 Series commercial brewers as an option to franchisees last year, and more than half of the Subway restaurants in North America have since adopted them. Subway, headquartered in Milford, CT, is the largest restaurant chain in the world with more than 42,000 locations in 106 countries.
Subway beverage manager David Zambory said the sandwich chain has heard "overwhelmingly positive feedback" since introducing Keurig brewers last year.
"Subway restaurants are a destination throughout the day, including at breakfast, and we look forward to providing our customers with the freshest cup of coffee possible no matter when they visit us," said Zambory.
