NAMA's Balakgie To Deliver State Of The Industry Report
ATLANTIC CITY, NJ -- The Showboat Atlantic City Hotel and Casino here will host the Tri-State Automatic Merchandising Council's annual meeting. The event unites industry members from New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania for business meetings, golf and networking.
The Tri-State confab kicks off Wednesday, June 12, with a welcome reception, sponsored by Vistar, at the House of Blues from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m..
A new product showcase will open Thursday, June 13, at 3 p.m., providing operators a first look at the latest vending and OCS technology and products. Suppliers, brokers and manufacturers will be on hand.
The Tri-State Open Board and Annual Business Meeting will begin at 4 p.m. with an overview from Tri-State president Susan McManus, on the issues facing the vending and coffee industry in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware and what the association is doing to protect everyone's interests.
Next, National Automatic Merchandising Association president and chief executive Carla Balakgie will deliver a state-of-the-industry report on the latest issues impacting vending, OCS and micromarkets.
A cocktail reception and dinner banquet reception conclude the day's events.
The annual golf tournament begins on Friday morning, June 15, with an 8 a.m. shotgun start at the Ballamor Golf Club in nearby Egg Harbor Township, NJ.
Showboat is located on the famous Atlantic City Boardwalk and its music, food, entertainment and atmosphere capture the spirit of The Big Easy.
