Barron Games, Injoy Motion, Allied Tank Attack BUFFALO, NY -- Barron Games International has entered into an exclusive partnership with Taiwan's Injoy Motion Corp. to distribute the Taiwanese factory's videogame simulators in the United States. Barron officials report that the deal includes the new Allied Tank Attack, along with earlier games in Injoy Motion's lineup.

As the exclusive distributor of Injoy Motion's products in the U.S., Barron will also stock parts and oversee aftersales service for such popular videogames as Project X-Pher, Top Gunner, Street Racing Stars, Power Boat and Dido Kart.

"The quality and strength of the Allied Tank Attack game is outstanding," claims Barron's Anna Bacorn. "It is a driving motion simulator with an actual tank cabinet built around it, providing players with an enjoyable driving and shooting experience."

Allied Tank Attack is available in single- or double-cabinet configurations, both with linking capabilities. With a storyline set during World War II, the game features different modes of play, plots, battles and survival. Its double seat design accommodates a driver and a gunner, providing players the opportunity to experience the game in two different roles. The cabinet employs a 55" LCD screen, a force-feedback machine gun and a yoke controller for steering. The cabinet also uses Injoy's new Air Bag Motion technology, which is said to deliver highly sophisticated cabin movement.

Indicative of the new partnership, Barron president Gregory Bacorn provided input into gameplay and cabinet design. He also is the voice of the captain's command in the English version of the game.

"Barron Games is an aggressive company in building entertainment equipment," said Cynthia Lai of Injoy Motion, which is an affiliate of the Internet Motion Navigation Corp. "They have great insight into family fun and games kids want to play. During my work with Barron, I found they are very creative and passionate about realizing new ideas, which is very similar to Injoy Motion's mission: enjoy making a world of innovations."

While videogames represent a departure for Barron Games, which specializes in commercial air hockey products, neither company sees that as a barrier to success. "Barron is always expanding its product line to stay current with the needs of the amusement games market, and providing operators with new options," said Anna Bacorn. "This year we are going to wow customers with an expanded portfolio of amusements, starting with Injoy Motion's lineup."
