LAKEWOOD, NJ -- BMI Merchandise has announced an agreement with America's Incredible Pizza Co. under which BMI will upgrade the merchandise and the interior of the operation's Springfield, MO, family entertainment center. BMI (Bonita Marie) reported that upgrades to the chain's Tulsa, OK, and Memphis facilities are in the works.
"America's Incredible Pizza challenged BMI to create a redemption environment and prize line-up that appeals to guests of all ages," said BMI chief executive David Katz. "They wanted a crisp, contemporary look, so we're redesigning Big Tops so merchandise is readily visible and easily accessible."
Big Top is the name of the pizza company's redemption center, and BMI selected first-tier items across every point value to turn the Big Top into a "fun-filled destination."
Beyond merchandise and equipment, BMI's logistics include aligning its proprietary Automated Reorder System with AIPC's redemption POS system, the company explained. The object is to assure a consistent flow of the most contemporary prizes, with no out-of-stocks or excess inventory.
AIPC's games vice-president Damien Kleeschulte said, "Our commitment is to provide our guests with exceptional food, thrilling games and fun-filled memories. We're pleased with BMI's ability to interpret our vision -- they definitely brought the 'wow' factor, further solidifying our place as Springfield's No. 1 family entertainment destination."
Headquartered in Springfield, MO, America's Incredible Pizza Co. is owned by pizza business veterans Rich and Cheryl Barsness. They opened their first restaurant in 1970, and now run 11 FECs throughout the Midwest and Mexico. AIPC has been recognized by the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions as one of the world's top family entertainment centers, and has received a number of awards from the communities in which it operates.
BMI Merchandise supplies redemption and direct-pay novelties to amusement operators, restaurants, bowling centers and "multi-tainment" venues.
