ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL -- Gary Colabuono said he has formed a new company, GTG Marketing, to assist companies in using the reach and appeal of Incredible Technologies' Golden Tee Golf and other games.
Colabuono, who had joined Incredible Technologies in 2000, served as director of marketing while that company was developing and deploying its sports simulators Golden Tee Golf, Silver Strike Bowling, Target Toss Pro and PowerPutt. Colabuono led the campaign that made the games, especially Golden Tee Golf, international brands. He organized live tournaments and worked closely with operators and the media to maximize interest and participation.

Prior to leaving IT, he met with company president Elaine Hodgson to map a strategy that would maximize the continuing application of his talents and resources.
"Gary, along with Scott Morrison and the entire marketing team, were instrumental in implementing some of the most successful on-premise promotions in the history of our industry," Hodgson said. "These programs -- Michelob Light Thursdays, the Illinois Lottery scratch-off ticket, Top-Flite Golf and the current Guinness Black Lager sweepstakes, to name only a few -- not only brought these world-class brands to Golden Tee, they drove players to locations and boosted cashboxes.
"As the exclusive representative for Golden Tee and all our amusement games, we're confident Gary will be able to continue this success at GTG Marketing," she applauded.
Colabuono said GTG Marketing is also available to assist other amusement companies with their marketing needs. "Whether it's on-premise promotions, social media integration or public relations and publicity, GTG Marketing can handle it all," he noted.
"For the past 12 years I was fortunate to work for an incredible company with outstanding people and products," the GTG founder recalled. "We had many successes during this time, and I hope to continue those successes at GTG Marketing."
