IRVING, TX -- CEC Entertainment Inc., parent of the Chuck E. Cheese's pizza-arcade chain, has appointed Thomas Leverton as its new chief executive. He succeeds Michael H. Magusiak, who retired in June.
Earlier this year, CEC Entertainment announced that it was being acquired by a private equity firm for $1.3 billion. New York City-based Apollo Global Management agreed to pay $54 a share in cash for the FEC operator. | READ MORE
Leverton most recently was chief executive of Topgolf, a chain of golf entertainment centers. Prior to that, he was chief executive of air medical operator Omniflight and a high-ranking official at FedEx Office.
