LAS VEGAS -- The National Bulk Vendors Association has elected Judi Heston of Theisen Vending Co. (Golden Valley, MN) as its president. She succeeds Steven Schechner, Capital Vending (Florence, AL), who held the association's top post since 2012.
The NBVA, an organization that includes equipment operators, product suppliers and machine manufacturers serving the bulk vending industry, elected new officers on March 27 at its annual banquet during its 64th annual convention and trade show in Las Vegas.
The association's membership also elected officers who will serve alongside Heston. They are Shawn Dumphy, SSM Vending (Mesa, AZ), vice-president; John P. Winters, Winters Vending (Wayne, MI) as secretary; and Carl Morcate of VenDynamics, treasurer.
NBVA's trade show was collocated with Amusement Expo at the Las Vegas Convention Center from March 25 to 27. The exposition is jointly sponsored by the Amusement and Music Operators Association and the American Amusement Machine Association.
The NBVA, which traditionally has held its annual trade show in the spring, collocated that show with Amusement Expo for the first time in 2011. The trade show partnership among the three organizations continues to earn praise from their respective members.
Founded in 1950, the NBVA maintains an office at 1202 E. Maryland Ave. Ste. 1K, Phoenix, AZ, 85014. To learn about NBVA's membership benefits, call (888) NBVA-USA.
