Mediterra Launches Six Nutrition Bars Based On Mediterranean Diet

NEW YORK CITY -- Mediterra Inc. has introduced six all-natural bars inspired by the Mediterranean diet and formulated to appeal to today's nutrition-conscious but taste-aware consumers. They made their debut at the Summer Fancy Foods Show conducted here by the Specialty Food Association (formerly the National Association for the Specialty Food Trade).

The new Mediterra line consists of two novel 1.4-oz. savory bars, Sun-Dried Tomato & Basil and Black Olives & Walnuts; 1.3-oz. energy bars, Pistachio & Honey and Orange & Honey (both made with roasted sesame seeds); and 1.6-oz. Yogurt & Oat Bars, Apricot & Pistachio and Cherry & Pistachio. Each is all-natural, gluten-free, made without genetically modified ingredients and shelf-stable.

Packaged in eye-catching white overwraps with full-color graphics, the wrappers are designed for easy reading when displayed vertically. The suggested retail price is $2.
