TAMPA, FL -- Community Refreshments Inc., an office coffee service company headquartered here, is moving into the Orlando market with its acquisition of CupaCoffee Inc.
Marni Frank, owner of Community Refreshments, said purchasing CupaCoffee will allow her company to increase its customer base along the I-4 corridor, where the need for OCS continues to grow.
Founded in 1971 by Ken Gouge, CupaCoffee has served greater Orlando for more than 40 years. "CupaCoffee specialized in putting the customers first, which provides Community Refreshments a loyal account base," said Frank.
Frank added that as a Keurig-authorized distributor and preferred provider for Starbucks, Community Refreshments can broaden the equipment and product options available to its newly acquired client base.
Community Refreshments' offerings include Keurig, Tassimo and Starbucks brewing systems, along with Café Liberty, Starbucks, Seattle's Best, Green Mountain and Folgers coffees, and adjunct products. The company also specializes in water filtration systems, and provides breakroom and janitorial supplies.
Last summer, Community Refreshments was recognized by Florida as a Certified Business Enterprise, the state's stamp of approval for businesses run by minorities, women or service-disabled veterans. | SEE STORY
