LAS VEGAS -- Excellence in invention, imagination and industry image-building will be recognized during the National Automatic Merchandising Association's upcoming OneShow convention and exhibition here. Outstanding achievement by 26 companies in eight categories will be honored.
The industry's iSpot Innovation Awards will be presented at a ceremony during the annual NAMA membership meeting on Thursday, April 26, in the Venetian Theatre of the headquarters Venetian Hotel. At the fête, lead judge Paul Schlossberg will emcee a PowerPoint presentation highlighting the meritorious characteristics of each entry winning a Gold Innovation Award.
This year's panel of judges divided the entries into three recognition categories: Gold, Silver and Bronze. Judging criteria were enumerated on the competition's entry form: Features, Benefits, Creativity, Image, Productivity and Profitability.
“We applaud all the companies for leading the industry forward through technology, image and creativity, and thank Paul Schlossberg, Jerry McVety and Mike Tompkins for their time and effort as the 2012 Innovation Award judging panel,” said NAMA OneShow senior director LyNae Schleyer.
Each winning entry will receive an iSpot symbol to place in the recipient company's booth, along with a Gold, Silver or Bronze ribbon. Gold-level recipients will also receive an engraved award.
